Before we get into where to find each of the Yakuza Like a Dragon Best Weapons, let’s talk about where to get each of the things you’ll need in order to do all your upgrading.
Upgrade Materials – Yakuza Like a Dragon Best Weapons
The first thing you’re going to need is money. A lot of money. As I mentioned above, each weapon is going to cost you about 100 million yen. Here’s a guide for all the best money farming locations available in Yakuza Like a Dragon.
Next, each weapon is going to require a certain amount of rare materials. These are High-density Metal, Silver Ingots, Gold Ingots, Pearls, Raw Platinum Ore, Raw Ruby Ore, Raw Sapphire Ore and Raw Diamond Ore. All of this stuff can be farmed in the Sotenbori Battle Arena on floors 11-19. Here’s a guide for the battle arena so you can see precisely which floor each item drops from.
Rare materials can also be found in small quantities in the Final Millennium Tower. The Tower has 2 Sapphires, 2 Rubies, 2 Gold Ingots, 2 Pearls, 1 Raw Platinum Ore, 1 Raw Daimond Ore, 1 Silver Ingot and a Cough Drop Tin. Getting materials this way is much slower, but you should keep it in mind because you’ll be grinding through the Millennium Tower a bunch of times for cash.
Cough Drop Tins can be found on floors 21-25 of the Sotenbori Battle Arena.
Some of the weapons require a bunch of bugs. All bugs can be found randomly by running around in Hamakita Park. Regular bugs can be purchased from the Can Quest vendor for 8000 points. Silver Bugs can be purchased from Gambling Hall vendors and Shogi Prize Vendors. Golden Bugs can be farmed from the Sotenbori Battle Arena.
Lastly, a bunch of weapons require Kao Attack ZERO and Cemedine Super X. This stuff can all be bought from Welcome Pharmacy, which is just Northeast of Romance Workshop.
Almost all the weapons required as materials to upgrade the best weapons to their final form drop in the Sotenbori Battle Arena. The ones that don’t can be purchased from Le Marche in Kamurocho for 10 million yen.
Most of the starting weapons can be found randomly in silver chests in the Yokohama Underground Dungeon.
